Fair Fickle Friend

I've talked about my amaryllis before (see two-headed beast) and I can't resist taking multiple pictures of it again. This year she gave just one stalk, but like last time, erring on the side of the unusual she has 4 blooms. I am always learning something new about this plant, and it continues to amaze me with it's rapid growth and rich red color, you can almost taste and hear it when you walk into the room. I can't stop looking at the thing.
