My absence this month has not been due to the busy Holiday Season, though that would be a good excuse. Instead, my lack of blogging is due to lack of internet, or rather, lack of non-shitty internet. Non-shitty internet has been an unobtainable enigma since my dear Mother first ran phone cords all over our living room and connected our computer to a box with blinking lights called a "modem" ...but ah, that is a rant for another day, back to December.
December began with a Birthday message:No, Doug wasn't drunk when he wrote this. I was aware that moisture from the shower could warp a dry-erase message like this, yet we still found it quite amusing that the message was so mangled after just a couple of showers.
December began wrapping up with some Christmas Cheer:From McF to "The Grove" to Minnesota and back again, we've already spent some quality time with family and friends this month, and hope to spend more celebrating the New Year this week. (P.S. - I love and miss you, Carly. Keep our NYE tradition alive!)
(P.P.S. - I began composing this post almost 24 hours ago, it took that long for my internet to come through!)
