Someone's not happy...

...in his ugly 2nd place Christmas sweater! I wanted an action shot of everyone on my birthday playing quarters. All complied with my demand, with the exception of my OLDER brother. I can't decide who looks goofier: Dan or my obedient pals??
Sarah won 1st place for her UGLY sweater (thanks to Rah's Mama). I'm, ah.. pointing to the "lovely" knitted rocking-horse!

One of our favorite party games, on the blizzarding eve of my birthday, was my wisely purchased Christmas Fun Mad Libs! We took turns filling in the blanks in the short stories, and most of them involved various body parts, bodily functions, and of course - Mariah Carey (who I think we felt was at the party in spirit = I put her version of "All I want for Christmas" on my playlist 3+ times, due to requests of course). My favorite Mad Lib was called "A Transylvanian New Year's" however, I think I found one that was a little bit cleaner:

SCROOGE

You have just read "A Christmas Carol" by Dan. Years ago in London, Zimbabwai, lived a mean, stingy Simba named Scrooge. He was so stingy, he saved tumblers. In fact, he had more than 7 of them. When anyone mentioned Christmas, Scrooge said, "Bah! Bowel." He had a powerful bookkeeper named Bob Cratchit, and Scrooge made him work 4 hours a day.

One Christmas Eve, Mr. Scrooge had a dream. He saw the Ghost of Christmas Past, who showed him what a purple Nintendo Wi he had been. Then the Cannon of Christmas Present showed Scrooge the miserable home of Bob Cratchit and loud Tiny Time. Tiny Tim had a temperature of 25 degrees. Then Scrooge met the Ghost of Christmas Cool, who took him to a scary cemetery, where Scrooge saw his own hole. He also saw the grave of Timy Tom Cruise. Scrooge turned blue and shouted, "Pooter!"

I'd definitely recommend Christmas Fun Mad Libs for any holiday get-together, a good birthday indeed!

No mention of the bar brawl? That was one of my favorite parts of the evening.
