LAST DAY OF OLD JOB
- broke the dress code: I wore one of the classiest pairs of pants I own, but they're not ankle length, and thus, a major VIOLATION - I know, I'm such a rebel. Upper Management = Useless Meddlers
- FREEDOM: I thought I'd be, at least, a little sad leaving the old job, but I started to get giddy as I locked up and I may have yelled: "FREEEEDOM!" numerous times, out the window on the drive home.
FIRST DAY OF NEW JOB
- Less like prison, more like work: everyone is so friendly, I'll definitely be using more of my brain and, believe it or not, my degree!! What a pleasant surprise! I'm not locked in a cave for 8+ hours either - SUNLIGHT & WINDOWS.
- First week = Done: I'm actually treated like an adult, I get to manage my own hours, my office mate reminds me of a lot of my best friends, due to the proximity to my house I'm often HOME FOR JEOPARDY!
This is good, this is SO good.
